Friends of the Eco Centre’ for people of all ages and backgrounds. The ‘Friends’ isn’t about ‘work parties’ or ‘hard tasks’ – we want people to join so you can try something a little different and do something you enjoy.

Hi, welcome to the ECO Centre a small non-profit organisation, based in Skegness Lincolnshire, focused on building stronger communities; by connecting people with each other and the environment. Seagull Recycling started in 1989 as a community group engaged in raising awareness of environmental issues, we progressed to managing the former Skegness Landfill Site and turned it into the Eco Centre; where we have developed meadows, woodlands, boundary habitats, wetlands and garden areas to enable people to become involved in all aspects of healthy living..

We partner with many different organisations such as Lincolnshire County Council PCDL Grow programme for Adult and Community & family learning, the Community Mental Health Team, NHS Lincolnshire, Skegness College of Vocational Training, JobcentrePlus, Lincolnshire CVS, Lincolnshire Voluntary Centre services, Social Prescribing, Linkage Community Trust and many more as theirs and our partnership activities can benefit our clients, placements and volunteers.
